Since Tao follows nature, why do we still need to practice ourselves?

I have noticed a problem: many people have a misunderstanding about nature. They think that the phrase “let nature take its course” means to do nothing.

The word “nature” refers to returning to nature, means mountains, the earth, the natural world.

Here I won’t talk about Taoism practice, because the origin of Buddhism and Taoism are the same. Here I am talking about spiritual practice.

Practice must return to nature. You have to go up the mountain, and the mountain is the key. You need the energy of the mountains to achieve a state of unity between nature and human.

However, most people who do spiritual practice nowadays by sitting still and comprehending at home, comprehending in their daily lives. In short, they all revolve around the word “comprehend”. Humans always think highly of themselves and believe that once their minds are enlightened, they can reach the Tao of heaven.

Those who read books such as <I Ching>, <Buddhist scriptures>, <the Diamond Sutra> and other scriptures without understanding the true essence of them are all excluded from the real way of Tao.

This is also the reason why so few people have accomplished it over the years.

There is no genuine knowledge in the books, and all that is far from the Tao.

In ancient times, practitioners also went up mountains, but they said nothing about what they were doing up there! It is difficult for ordinary people to attain the secrets of that.

Nowadays, many people also go to ZhongNan Mountains to practice themselves. But it doesn’t work at all! It’s not only three simple words “ go up mountains”, but also some important knack in it.

Not all mountains are suitable.

In Chinese, the character “Immortal” is combined a word ”human” and a word “mountain” together. This composition of the characters has already told us the core of spiritual practice which is definitely inseparable from mountains.
