It is thirty percent predestined and seventy percent human effort. Your personal choice is very important.

The Tao of heaven is not dominated by one particular person. Personal gains and losses and tribulations are trivial in front of it, unless they are exceptional people.

But now many people think they are special, which is quite ridiculous. You are special, but not so special as to be of concern to the Tao of heaven. Among the myriad of living beings, it is better to recognize oneself and be steadily and practically.
